Nonprofits can register for Richland Gives - Richland County Foundation

Local nonprofits can register for Richland Gives

August 20, 2015

Richland Gives, an online day of giving, is set for December 1, 2015. It is designed to encourage everyone to contribute to local nonprofits through a single giving platform/website. The Richland County Foundation will host the day to build capacity, grow philanthropy and make the community stronger.

RCF President Brady Groves said “Richland Gives’ success will depend on our collective enthusiasm and implementation. We’re asking nonprofit professionals, volunteers, businesses and citizens to bring their skills and experiences to this effort.”

RCF is recruiting nonprofits to register for Richland Gives. The day of giving will allow nonprofit organizations to raise funds and awareness as well as cultivate new donors and reinvigorate lapsed donors.

Richland County nonprofits can register online at richlandgives.org.

Companies can sponsor the event at various investment levels. The sponsorship dollars will be pooled to offer incentives to the charities during the day of giving.

The initial sponsors are Key Bank and Richland Bank.

RCF will provide toolkits, webinars, mass media and social media coverage to make it easier for nonprofits to participate. Each registered organization will have an individualized web page to promote their cause.

A Richland Gives training webinar will be held Tuesday, September 15 at 2:30 p.m. for nonprofit organization staff members.

To further assist nonprofits, Tracy Graziani of Graziani Multimedia and Jay Miller of DRM Productions will teach a social media workshop October 9 from 8 to 9 a.m. at the Foundation, 181 South Main Street, Mansfield.

For more information or to reserve a seat for the workshop contact Maura Teynor at 419-525-3020 or mteynor@rcfoundation.org.
