The Mansfield Rising initiative represents a groundbreaking approach to community development—one where citizens become the architects of downtown revitalization. Since 2018, this innovative program has attracted over $20 million in investment, completed or initiated 17 projects, and developed a new generation of civic leaders.

The Mansfield Rising Plan
Our comprehensive downtown investment plan provides a strategic roadmap for growth, developed by 15 community members who attended the South by Southwest Conference in Austin, Texas. This citizen-driven approach has created authentic, practical solutions tailored specifically to Mansfield’s unique needs and opportunities.

Mansfield Rising 2.0
Building on our initial success, an anonymous donor funded a second cohort of eight diverse community members to join the effort in 2024. This expansion brings fresh perspectives and new energy to our downtown revitalization efforts, ensuring long-term sustainability of the initiative.
Project Updates
