Foundation Announces Grants Of Over $449,000 For College Scholarships

The Richland County Foundation’s Scholarship committee chair, Michael Chambers, announced at the August meeting of the Board of Trustees that Richland County Foundation has awarded an all-time high number of scholarships to Richland County students attending accredited two-year or four-year colleges or universities.

The Foundation awarded over $449,750 to over 450 students attending seventy-seven (77) different schools. Students are attending thirteen (13) state schools in the State of Ohio; thirty-three (33) private schools in the State of Ohio; and thirty-one (31) schools out of the State of Ohio.

These scholarships were granted from the Foundation’s Unrestricted Funds, Unrestricted Scholarship Funds, Special Named Scholarship Funds, the S.N. and Ada Ford Scholarship Fund, and the Paul and Adelyn Shumaker Scholarship Fund.
