#RichlandGives Spotlight: Richland Academy of the Arts
For over 25 years, Richland Academy of the Arts has nurtured local creative talent through an environment of safety, respect, learning, and imagination. We provide quality programming in both the Arts and Education and Development.
It is our belief is that creativity exists in everyone and we are determined to help aspiring artists explore the arts, regardless of physical barriers or financial limitations. Our mission is to provide a place where anyone can explore the artist within. Richland Academy sponsors charter schools in the State of Ohio, mentoring them toward high-quality education in safe, nurturing, and culture-rich environments.
- In 2016-2017 we supported the artistic endeavors of over 1,000 students per semester.
- Through our work as a charter school sponsor, we supported the education of an average of 1,800 students per month at 3 schools throughout the state.
- In 2017-2018, with your help, we can reach even more of the people in our community.

Richland Gives has provided Richland Academy of the Arts with the opportunity to become an important option for the communities charitable giving. It has encouraged us to reach out into Richland County for support from individual donors and corporations in an effort to meet the needs of our students and help us to build a strong future for our organization community. It has invigorated us to bolster our internal fundraising efforts by creating a comprehensive sponsorship package in addition to a reinvented annual campaign.
In the future, we will continue to grow to become the choice for arts education and performance experience in North Central Ohio. Artists and patrons alike will be surrounded by the professionalism that encourages unlimited possibilities of artistic expression and imagination. Richland Academy of the Arts will strive to provide opportunities that inspire our students and community to reach their full creative potential in the arts and life.
