Income tax related to trusts is the topic of seminar

Income tax related to trusts is the topic of a continuing education seminar for professional advisors sponsored by the Richland County Foundation. The seminar will be held Thursday, May 21 at the North Central State College Urban Center, 134 North Main Street, Mansfield, from 12 to 4 p.m.

Attorneys can earn three continuing education credit hours facilitated by the Richland County Bar Association’s Education Committee. The cost is $50 which includes lunch. Registration is due by May 20. To register for the seminar click here or call 419-525-3020.

Attorney Edwin P. Morrow, III, Key Private Bank Wealth Strategies manager, will cover topics including; Improving on the Basic AB Trust Design, Special Planning Concerns for IRAs and Asset Protection Strategies.

Morrow earned his law degree from Northwestern Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, OR, a master’s degree in tax law from Capital University Law School in Columbus, and a master’s in business administration from Xavier University Williams College of Business in Cincinnati.

Prior to Key Private Bank, Morrow practiced at Furnier and Thomas, LLP in Cincinnati.
