2007 Women's Fund Grants

The Center for Individual and Family Services "The Women’s Group" - Program gave female clients of the Center the opportunity to try new activities, learn new skills, and meet a variety of people.

Community Health Access Project (CHAP) "Early Infant Assistance Boost Program" - Friends of CHAP Auxiliary’s program provided mothers with infant car seats as required by state regulations in order to take their new babies home from the hospital.

Independent Living Center of North Central Ohio "A Hand Up in place of a Hand-Out" - Program for women with disabilities and low or fixed incomes to learn basic sewing, crocheting, knitting, and quilting skills which may result in marketable skills, increased self-esteem and productive citizenship.

Parent Aide Program Family Meeting Night: "Toolbox Parenting Series" - Program provided “tools” for parents to increase their child management skills through role-play, visualization and education. Tools are introduced at monthly family evening events.
