Richland County Foundation awards $36,345 to Summertime Kids Programs

The Richland County Foundation awarded 21 grants of up to $2,500 each to area nonprofit organizations for Summertime Kids Programs. The programs support creative, educational and fun-filled summer activities for hundreds of Richland County children who do not have other opportunities during the summer months.

The following grants were approved:

Harmony House Homeless Services, Inc., “Kids Vacation”
Hospice of North Central Ohio, Inc., “KIDSCENE”
Independent Living Center of North Central Ohio, “Making New Friends CAN be Fun”
Kids' Connection of Ohio, Inc., “Kids Summer Outdoor Challenge”
Kingwood Center, “Flower Power”
