Foundation to Sponsor Ethics and Accountability
Workshop Series

Richland County Foundation is sponsoring “Standards for Excellence,” a four-part series of workshops for nonprofit organizations on the Ethics and Accountability Code for the Nonprofit Sector. It will be presented by the Ohio Association of Nonprofit Organizations (OANO).

The workshops will be offered from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm on four Thursdays: February 18, March 4, March 18, and April 1 at the Mid-Ohio Conference Center. A box lunch will be provided.

The course offerings include Mission and Program; Governing Body; Conflict of Interest; Human Resources; Financial and Legal; Public Accountability; Fundraising; and Public Affairs and Public Policy.

These workshops have been available across the state of Ohio in major metropolitan areas. Participation will be limited to 12 local public charities who commit to having their CEO together with two other staff or board members attend all four sessions.
