Grant Writing Workshop for Summertime Kids

A one-hour grant-writing workshop for The Summertime Kids grant program will be held Thursday, January 12 at 11:00 a.m. in the Foundation’s Founders Meeting Room, lower level, The Walnut Building, 24 West Third Street, Mansfield.

Summertime Kids grants provide up to $2,500 to nonprofit agencies that develop creative, educational and/or fun-filled activities for Richland County children throughout the summer months.

Program Officer, Becky Smith, will review the grant guidelines, cover the Logic Model for designing programs, show samples of key elements in an effective, well-written STK grant, and explain how to report outcomes.

Registrations for the workshop are due by Monday, January 9. As seating is limited, it is advised that anyone interested make their reservation early. Those interested may R.S.V.P. to Krisi Johnston at the Foundation office at 419-525-3020 or email kjohnston@rcfoundation.org.
