In making grants from unrestricted and field of interest funds, Richland County Foundation looks to partner with nonprofit organizations to respond to current community needs. The Foundation encourages 501(c)(3) agencies, government entities, schools, and nonprofit medical facilities to partner with the Foundation to provide charitable programs to Richland County residents.

| Women's Fund Grants
The Women’s Fund was established in 1996 as a permanent endowment to provide funding to programs and projects in the Richland County area, which empower women to reach their full potential. The Advisory Committee awards grants that promote the physical, intellectual, emotional, social, economic and cultural growth of women of all ages. Organizations that are eligible to receive grants include 501(c)(3) organizations, schools, churches, and health service organizations.
