Meeting the Changing Needs of Our Community.
Six times a year, the Richland County Foundation awards General Community Grants to nonprofit organizations through a competitive process.
Richland County Foundation looks to partner with nonprofit organizations to respond to current community needs. The Foundation encourages 501(c)(3) public charities, government entities, schools, and nonprofit medical facilities to partner with the Foundation to provide charitable programs to Richland County residents.
Community grants are awarded from endowed, unrestricted and field
of interest funds.
Providing Emergency Assistance.
Grants applications are accepted in March and September from nonprofit organizations which operate programs that assist the needy. Grant dollars may be used for emergency assistance, basic human needs and sustaining basic health.
