Do I need to re-apply for a scholarship award each year?
Yes, RCF scholarships are not automatically recurring.

Do I need to have all the required attachments in by the April 1 deadline?
Yes, all required documentation must be received in the Foundation office by 5:00 p.m. April 1.

Do I have to send in all the requirements in together?
No, but all requirements must be in the Foundation office by the 5:00 p.m. April 1 deadline.

Can I download my grades from my college/university student account?
No. In order to be consistent and fair to all, we must receive a copy of an official transcript that includes a signature and school seal.

Are all your scholarship awards based on financial need?
Yes.

On your scholarship folder you list a number of special funds. Do I need to apply for each that I feel I might qualify?
No. The information gathered from the application allows RCF Scholarship staff to properly match scholarship to student.

Because you list multiple funds in your folder, how many awards may I receive based upon my eligibility?
RCF awards only one scholarship per student per year.

Does everyone receive the same amount of scholarship award?
No. There are a number of factors that may affect the award amount.

If my family does not file their taxes until April, how can I get my FASFA form
done in time to meet your deadline?

You may complete an estimated FASFA form once the new forms are available on-line.

When will I receive my award?
Everyone is notified of his or her award by late June. The check for your award will be sent directly to the college/university financial aid office after August 1.
