Connections members will be meeting at Old Bag of Nail Pub on Lexington Avenue in Mansfield to learn about RCDG, the new economic development group for Richland County.

Hors d'oeuvres will be provided.

Richland Community Development Group is following a less traditional economic development model, focused on Community Development, mainly "Quality of Life" and all its components.

Currently, well over 400 people have gotten involved in an Asset Mapping and Vision setting process for 20 sectors of the community, from Beautification to Health Care to Neighborhoods to Government.

At the end of the process, the hope is to focus on a few big themes and make sure that all the small sparks generated turn into fires.

Dave Baldwin is heading the process and will explain how it works and tell about the successes and engagement so far.
