| The mission of the Richland County Foundation is to improve the quality of life in Richland County through strategic philanthropy and community leadership. |
To fulfill this mission, the Foundation will:
Provide Leadership and act as a catalyst in identifying and addressing evolving community needs.
Distribute Grants for charitable purposes in the areas of Health, Economic Development, Basic Human Needs, Education, Cultural Activities, Environment, and Community Services.
Assist Donors in creating funds to meet emerging community needs and distribute proceeds in accordance with the donor's intent.
Prudently Manage the Foundation's resources to achieve the maximum benefit for Richland County in perpetuity.
The Foundation strives to expand the community's philanthropic resources so that our community can meet new challenges and opportunities as they arise. Through the Richland County Foundation, the combined gifts of many people are meeting important needs today as well as creating a lasting legacy for the future.
